Pat Connaughton Dishes on Becoming a Trail Blazer

A Portland rookie talks about what he needs to do in order to earn playing time.

Craig Mitchelldyer-USA TODAY Sports

During yesterday's Media Day festivities, Portland Trail Blazers rookie Pat Connaughton dished on multiple subjects, including the attraction of coming to the Rose City, comparisons with his hometown of Boston, facing off against the best in the world, and what he needs to do in order to actually take the floor while battling through a roster of talented, young players. It's well worth a listen.

Connaughton was drafted 41st overall in the 2015 NBA Draft by the Brooklyn Nets, then traded to the Blazers in the same deal that brought center Mason Plumlee to Portland.
