David Pick, international media correspondent for BasketballInsiders and Senior Writer at Eurobasket.com, reports that Portland Trail Blazers forward Joel Freeland will be plying his trade in Moscow next season.

Freeland, the 30th pick in the 2006 NBA Draft, played for the Blazers for 3 seasons between 2012-2015. The 6'10" F?C averaged 3.2 points and 3.4 rebounds on 45.9% shooting from the field in 12.1 minutes per game. He appeared in 151 games total, plus 11 playoff games.

Former San Antonio Spurs and Toronto Raptors forward Nando de Colo also plays for CSKA Moscow.

Update: Now RealGM's Shams Charania says the Mavericks may be convincing Freeland to DeAndre Jordan CSKA Moscow.
