Portland Trail Blazers Fire Assistant Coach Kim Hughes

The man who stated in an interview that LaMarcus Aldridge was leaving town is out of the organization after three years of service.

According to Jason Quick of the Oregonian, Blazers Assistant Coach Kim Hughes has been fired:

The firing comes after Hughes stated during an interview that LaMarcus Aldridge would not be returning to the Blazers, the first such admission from a member of the organization. The video is below, with the key quote coming at the 2:40 mark:
