Update: The Blazers held off the Raptors in a fun Summer League finale. Toronto pushed ahead regularly, but Portland went on a 19-4 run in the final minutes to take control and steal a win to finish their portion of the tournament. Portland beat Toronto, the #1 seed in the Summer League tournament, despite missing Noah Vonleh and Pat Connaughton, who sat after playing three games in the three previous days.
The Blazers are now officially done for the summer. The next official event will be the start of training camp in late September, as a whole new team battles for roster spots.
But stay at Blazer's Edge, where we will have thoughts on the future, reflections of the past, and all kinds of fun stuff over the summer to keep you entertained until the Blazers pick up a ball and return to the court this fall.
This is the final game of the Portland Trail Blazers' Summer League stint. After losing a close game yesterday to the Boston Celtics, the Blazers will play their fourth game in four nights, this time against the Toronto Raptors.
Even for Summer League, this game is irrelevant: Much like Sheryl Crow, both teams are leaving Las Vegas after the game. Rumors state that players who are likely on Portland's fall roster may sit tonight, to prevent exhaustion injuries.
