After meeting with him this morning, the Spurs are by far the front runner to sign LaMarcus Aldridge, who seems extremely unlikely to return to Portland. But the Suns signed Tyson Chandler just in time to bring him to their meeting with LaMarcus Aldridge and make their case. Later, reports broke that Aldridge was less than impressed with the Lakers' presentation. LaMarcus is expected to meet with the New York Knicks tomorrow before making a decision. This would make for a great season of a TV show on Netflix.

The Blazers reportedly have strong interest in Greg Monroe, and the top executives made him their "midnight visit" last night. Neil Olshey reportedly tried to sell him on a "Plan A": Teaming him with a returning LaMarcus Aldridge.

Wesley Matthews is talking to the Dallas Mavericks and Toronto Raptors, but there is a general sense that the Mavs are the front-runners to sign him. There are no reports of discussions with the Blazers.

News is fairly quiet on the Robin Lopez front. He'll meet with the Knicks among other teams. There are no reports of discussions with the Blazers.

Carlos Boozer was linked to the Blazers (among other teams( this afternoon. The Blazers have roster space and cap room, and Boozer may not be expensive anymore.
