While most of the NBA focuses on the fate of Portland Trail Blazers forward LaMarcus Aldridge, the Toronto Raptors are making a play for another Blazers free agent, shooting guard Wesley Matthews.

USA Today's Sam Amick has reported that guard DeMar DeRozan has had a heavy influence in the signing of guard DeMarre Carroll and the pursuit of guard Wesley Matthews.
