The 6'11", 253lb 5-year veteran started life as a center in Detroit but became a hybrid center/power forward with the advent of Andre Drummond. He accepted a one-year qualifying offer from the Pistons last summer in order to become an unrestricted free agent in 2015.
Monroe averaged 15.9 points and 10.2 rebounds in 31 minutes per game last year.
Update: The Blazers aren't the only ones Monroe is meeting with.
In addition to Blazers, the Lakers, Knicks and Bucks are in line to meet with Greg Monroe and agent David Falk today in D.C., per source.
