Rondae Hollis-Jefferson Will Work Out with Blazers

The 6'7" forward from Arizona, who interviewed with the team last month, remains on the Blazers' radar.

According to CSN Northwest's Jabari Young, Arizona's Rondae Hollis-Jefferson is scheduled to workout with the Portland Trail Blazers next week.

Jefferson is an athletic wing who is viewed as one of the best defenders available in the draft. The Blazers have already expressed their interest in Jefferson, as evidenced by an interview at last month's NBA Draft Combine. Per CSNNW.com:

After interviewing with the Blazers, Hollis-Jefferson labeled the session as a "test" to see how his mind works and his reaction to "certain situations."

Said Hollis-Jefferson: "I feel like I aced it. Plain and simple, I aced it."

Hollis-Jefferson posted averages of 11.2 points and 6.8 rebounds as a college sophomore last season. As Young notes, he is expected to be drafted somewhere between picks 15-20, but he could still realistically fall into the Blazers' hands at No. 23.

Young's article also mentions that Georgia State guard Ryan Harrow could potentially workout for the Blazers later this month.
