2015 NBA Playoffs Game 3 Open Thread: Memphis Grizzlies vs. Portland Trail Blazers

Can the Blazers come back in the second half and give the fans hope?

Update: Memphis leads Portland by 13 at halftime. The Blazers need to find a way to come back. Hang out here to discuss the second half.

After two straight lopsided losses in Memphis, the Portland Trail Blazers tip off at home for the first time this postseason.

The Blazers lost Game 1 by a score of 100-86, and Game 2 with a very similar score, 97-82.

Portland continues to be led by LaMarcus Aldridge, playing through a thumb injury to attempt to keep the team alive in each game. But the back court players, Damian Lillard, CJ McCollum and Steve Blake, have seen extraordinary struggles to hit even open shots, leaving the team desperate for points.

Blazers shooting guard Arron Afflalo will return to the starting lineup for Game 3 after missing the end of the regular season and the playoffs so far. And backup center Chris Kaman, injured during practice earlier this weeks, hopes to return Saturday as well.

For the Grizzlies, Beno Udrih will miss the game.

If the Blazers can't come together and find a way to solve the riddle of the Grizzlies tonight, their hopes will be effectively over: No NBA team has ever come back from a 3-0 deficit in a best-of-seven playoff series.
