According to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports Online, the Oklahoma City Thunder have fired head coach Scott Brooks.

Thunder general manager Sam Presti traveled to meet Brooks near his California home on Wednesday and delivered the news, sources told Yahoo Sports.

Wojnarowski speculates on Brooks' replacement:

Florida coach Billy Donovan is expected to become a serious candidate to replace Brooks, sources told Yahoo Sports.

Brooks has coached the Thunder since 2008, compiling a 338-207 record, 39-34 in the playoffs. He was named Coach of the Year in 2009-10. His team reached the NBA Finals in 2012, losing to the Miami Heat.
