LaMarcus Aldridge Out vs. Thunder

Portland's power forward misses his second straight game with an ankle sprain.

Craig Mitchelldyer-USA TODAY Sports

Portland Trail Blazers forward LaMarcus Aldridge will not play tonight as the Blazers face the Oklahoma City Thunder.

This will be the second straight game Aldridge has missed. The official reason is an ankle sprain. On a perhaps-related note, the Trail Blazers are locked into the 4th seed in the Western Conference with no chance of gaining homecourt advantage in the first round of the playoffs, wins and losses notwithstanding.

Also of note as the Blazers face the Thunder: The NBA has rescinded a technical foul received by Russell Westbrook last night against the Indiana Pacers as well as one issued March 29th in OKC's game versus the Phoenix Suns. Last night's "T" pushed Westbrook's total 16, which would have triggered a mandatory suspension for tonight's game.
