The Blazers' backcourt of Damian Lillard and CJ McCollum was mentioned by Bill Simmons and Joe House on Simmons' podcast as one of this season's top "sneaky, fun" stories in the NBA.
The two start talking about the Portland pair just after the 43-minute mark.

The conversation about Lillard and McCollum was brief. Here's the gist of what was said about the NBA's third-highest scoring duo.
Bill Simmons: Lillard and McCollum, in Portland.
Joe House: That one is so interesting!
BS: Lillard and McCollum both averaging 20 a game.
JH: McCollum is on a most improved, he's amazing. It's not a reinvention, it's the invention of CJ McCollum this season.
BS: We loved him (McCollum) when we interviewed him. There's real value in interviewing those guys. Jalen [Rose] and I loved him when we did the interview. I thought he was the most interesting guy we interviewed other than [Victor] Oladipo.
JH: He's ahead of my guy. Ahead of Bradley Beal, at the moment. Beal gets headlines, McCollum's got game.
Lillard (plantar fascia) and McCollum (ankle) each missed their first game of the season on Monday in Atlanta. Lillard has been ruled out of Wednesday's contest in New Orleans, while McCollum is listed as questionable.
