In his third season in a Portland Trail Blazers uniform, it seems that Allen Crabbe is making the leap forward into a strong NBA player. His overall improvement has not gone unnoticed around the league.

Zach Lowe of ESPN.com had high praise for Crabbe in his newest column.

"Over the past month, Crabbe has shot 54 percent overall, including 49 percent from deep, and has emerged as an all-around crunch-time weapon for the Trail Blazers. He is more comfortable attacking off the bounce once Damian Lillard or C.J. McCollum kicks to him, and his footwork on defense has improved massively since the first few weeks of the season."

Crabbe has certainly been on fire in December, averaging 14.4 points per game during the month with a 51.8% overall shooting percentage. The third-year forward out of the University of California has seen his usage skyrocket this year with a retooled Blazers roster. He currently averages 10 points per game, more than double his career average and ranking him as the Blazers' fourth leading scorer.
