Damian Lillard – and his games played streak – may be fine after all.
Trail Blazers beat reporter Casey Holdahl tweeted Tuesday that Lillard may indeed play Tuesday night against the Dallas Mavericks. Lillard played just 15 minutes during Monday night's loss to the Clippers after leaving the game because of an illness.
Slightly educated guess here: @Dame_Lillard plays tonight versus Mavs.

. @Dame_Lillard (stomach virus) upgraded to probable for tonight's game. His consecutive games streak should continue.

Lillard also noted after Monday's game that if he didn't feel any improvement, he wouldn't play against Dallas.
"If I'm good enough to go then I'll play," he said. "But I can't go out there the way I was tonight. I know I can't play like that."
Missing Tuesday's game would be a big one for Lillard. Thus far, he has suited up for all 264 games of his career.
Currently, Lillard has the fourth-longest active playing streak in the NBA.
