Daily Fantasy: Aminu looks good tonight!

Consider Al-Farouq Aminu tonight against the Bulls in daily fantasy.

Jayne Kamin-Oncea-USA TODAY Sports

Al-Farouq Aminu has been averaging 12.7 points, 7.7 rebounds, and 1.9 assists per game this season. He is a solid daily fantasy play tonight against the Chicago Bulls.

Aminu will likely see a lot of playing time as Portland's most competent perimeter defender. He will be needed to help cover Jimmy Butler in standard lineups and can also stick with Nikola Mirotic if Terry Stotts decides to go small. Further, the Bulls have not been a great rebounding team this season and Portland has looked good in transition over the last couple games. Aminu has been a key player for the Blazers in both situations. In the halfcourt, Bulls' opponents are shooting 34 percent from 3 for the season - if Damian Lillard can get into the lane Aminu should have open opportunities from deep.

In short, Aminu will get plenty of playing time because of his defense. The minutes should translate into fantasy points as his skill set will be an integral part of the Blazers' gameplan.
