Charlotte's Kemba Walker heads into Sunday's game against the Portland Trail Blazers averaging 15.0 points, 5.3 assists, and 3.0 rebounds per game. He is an appealing FanDuel option against the Blazers.
Walker has been inconsistent this season but is a strong candidate to perform well against the Blazers' defense. Walker has scored the majority of his points this season at the rim and is shooting 62.5% from the field in that range. He has been a poor jump shooter, but Portland's perimeter defense has been particularly porous so Walker should have many scoring opportunities at the basket. Ability to penetrate will also increase his playmaking potential, upping his assist numbers.
As an alternative option Jeremy Lamb, another UConn alum, figures to also take advantage of Portland's perimeter defense.
