It was another good night for Portland Trail Blazer fans with high expectations, as their held off a game Golden State Warriors team all night, culminating in a fourth quarter rout. Portland looked like a composed team: they defended Golden State well, they ran their sets, and they found open shots. They withstood Golden State's repeated comeback attempts with constant pressure and scrappy play.
Allen Crabbe torched the Warriors all night, leading the Blazers with 25 points on 5-6 three-point shooting. Damian Lillard had a brutal 3-18 shooting night, but drove the lane to earn free throws. He finished with 22 points and 6 rebounds. CJ McCollum contributed 19 points and 5 assists, taking on some backup point guard duties. And new father Al-Farouq Aminu added 11 points with 8 rebounds. Moe Harkless missed the game due to a concussion.
Stotts said that holding Harkless out was precautionary because he was having headaches today after an incident in practice yesterday.
