After missing seven and a half months recovering from a ruptured left Achilles, former Portland Trail Blazer Wesley Matthews will suit up for the Dallas Mavericks in their preseason finale against the Chicago Bulls tonight. On Thursday, Mavericks head coach Rick Carlisle hinted that Matthews would play if he was feeling up to it. Beat writer Earl Sneed confirms that Matthews is indeed ready.
