Portland Trail Blazers Coach Terry Stotts Named Coach of the Month

A 13-3 December propels Portland's coach to acclaim.

Portland Trail Blazers Head Coach Terry Stotts has been named the NBA's Western Conference Coach of the Month for December. The Blazers compiled a 13-3 record last month, a December tally for that's been equaled only twice in franchise history. Three wins in three overtime games aided the Blazers during that stretch.

Atlanta Hawks Coach Mike Budenholzer earned the Eastern Conference Coach of the Month honors. Budenholzer's Hawks beat the Blazers on Saturday night, getting the jump on a good start in January.
