NBA All-Star Game Starters Announced: Curry Gets Most Votes

Steph Curry leads all All-Stars in popular voting. Here's who else made the team.

Kelley L Cox-USA TODAY Sports

NBA All-Star Balloting has come to an end and the results are now official. Here are your All-Star starters for 2015:

West Frontcourt

Anthony Davis, Marc Gasol, Blake Griffin

West Backcourt

Steph Curry, Kobe Bryant

East Frontcourt

LeBron James, Pau Gasol, Carmelo Anthony

East Backcourt

John Wall, Kyle Lowry

Portland Trail Blazers forward LaMarcus Aldridge finished approximately 200,000 votes behind Griffin for the 3rd spot in the West, finishing 6th among Western Conference forwards overall.

Guard Damian Lillard finished approximately 787,000 votes behind Kobe Bryant for the 2nd backcourt spot, finishing 5th among guards overall.

With 1,513,324 ballots cast for him, Curry received more votes than any other starter, including LeBron James.

Editorializing...with Lowry, Wall, Kyrie Irving, and Jimmy Butler all in the top 5, the Eastern Conference guard spots seemed more merit-based than the West.

Aldridge and Lillard can still be voted All-Star Game reserves by league coaches. Bryant will not play because of injury. Unfortunately the same will apply to Aldridge.
