Dan Feldman of ProBasketballTalk issued a report this afternoon stating that the Denver Nuggets are "shopping Wilson Chandler hard".
Dealing [Timofey] Mozgov could have been the first step in a deliberate tear-down of a team looking to rebuild.
So, it makes sense other teams are inquiring about Arron Afflalo and Wilson Chandler. If Denver is aiming for the future, those players would be on the block.
Want a clue of the Nuggets' intention? The calls aren't coming in only one direction.
This follows a tweet from Grantland's Zach Lowe over the weekend suggesting that the Nuggets would move Chandler to Portland provided the Blazers were willing to throw in a first rounder.
Chandler is averaging 14 points and 6 rebounds in 32 minutes per game for the Nuggets this season. He's making $6.8 million this season and the Feldman article suggests that only $2 million of his $7.1 million salary next year is guaranteed.
On this week's podcast we're asking you to call in to 234-738-3394 and tell us whether you'd rather the Blazers trade for Chandler or Minnesota's Kevin Martin. You can do that or continue to follow the speculation in the comment section below.
Hat tip to JP503 for getting the notice up in the Fanshot section.
