Latest NBA All-Star Balloting Results Bring Bad News for Portland Trail Blazers

Some prominent Blazers don't rank prominently on the All-Star ballot so far.

Steve Dykes-USA TODAY Sports

The NBA has released its latest tabulations for All-Star voting and the results are pretty dismal for the Portland Trail Blazers.

I care less about All-Star hype than anybody on the planet, but even for me it's hard to see elite-level players on an elite-record team receive votes equalling 1/3 (LaMarcus Aldridge) or 1/5 (Damian Lillard) the total of the leader in their categories. I'm not denying that Anthony Davis and Stephen Curry deserve their spots, but Lillard should have far more votes and Aldridge should be second behind Davis, period.

Sigh and discuss below.
