Portland Trail Blazers coach Terry Stotts addressed the media after his team was eliminated from the Las Vegas Summer League tournament's championship bracket on Thursday.

Here's a transcript of his comments.

Thoughts from Summer League

The first three games were OK. I thought we really played well against Atlanta, I thought it was the best Summer League game we've played since I've been here. Tonight was disappointing, it's difficult to beat a team back-to-back like that. One of the things I'm looking for is consistency from the young guys. There are minutes to be had next year. That's a tough thing for young players to develop, having the same -- not necessarily shooting, but same energy and same type of game from one night to the next.

Seeing consistency from players?

I think all of our young guys have gotten better. There's no question. This last game was disappointing, not having Thomas, not having Rodney affected the game. It's safe to say we didn't play this game the same way we did last time.

Meyers Leonard

I think the injury set him back. He had a really good June. In camp in Portland he was playing well, but I think [the injury] took a little bit off his game. I think he can play better but he's giving good effort.

CJ McCollum

I really like the effort he's been giving defensively. You can tell he's made it a priority. He's keeping guys in front of him better, he's pressuring the ball. It's good to see him have a breakout game against Atlanta. We all know he's capable of doing that. In the previous games he's had shots he can make, he's got on a roll. He needed a game like that.

McCollum and Will Barton -- progress with ball-handling and offense-initiation

I think it's much better. If you compare this summer to last summer for those two guys, they've been -- when Bobby Brown has not been on the court -- they've both been good facilitators. We've had some turnovers, some dropped balls, for the most part they understand our offense better and handle the pressure better than last summer.

Thomas Robinson's injury

I don't know how long it's going to take. Hopefully it will get fixed and he's ready to go when training camp starts.

Thomas Robinson surgery?

I don't know what's been released. I think he might be getting a second opinion and we'll go from there.

Allen Crabbe

Allen is a player that kind of fills in. The ball is not in his hands a lot like it is with CJ and Will. He gets his opportunities running the floor and moving without the ball. I think too much is made about shooting and shots attempted and things like that. I thought he played a solid game today and I thought he played well last game. His minutes are a little bit lower than the other guys and the ball isn't in his hands as much. Defensively, what we like about Allen is how well he's defended and he needs to continue to do that. He blends in with the other players. He's not going to bust out because that's not the role he has.
