During the regular season, San Antonio ranked No. 6 on offense and No. 4 on defense, while Portland ranked No. 5 on offense and No. 16 on defense.

Through one round of the playoffs, San Antonio ranks No. 3 on offense and No. 9 on defense, while Portland ranks No. 1 on offense and No. 13 on defense.

Spurs coach Gregg Popovich had this to say about the Blazers on Sunday...

"It is obviously one heck of a team. We had trouble with them all year long. They have guys on that team that we haven't guarded yet. They are very talented. They are young and energetic. Terry (Stotts) does a great job. They know what they want to do and they are playing great basketball. It will be a big challenge, obviously."

The winner of Blazers/Spurs will advance to the Western Conference finals, where they will face the winner of a Western Conference semifinals series between the Oklahoma City Thunder, the West's No. 2 seed, and the Los Angeles Clippers, the West's No. 3 seed.
