LaMarcus Aldridge scored 43 points tonight as the Portland Trail Blazers defeated the Houston Rockets to leap into a 2-0 series lead. After winning two straight games on the road, the Blazers head home to play the next two in front of a Portland crowd, eager to see the team's go for their first second-round appearance in the NBA playoffs since the year 2000, the longest streak among non-expansion franchises.

After a rough first game, the Blazer bench came up huge on a night when they were needed to make a push against a surging Rockets team.
