Fan Who Collapsed During 4th Quarter of Blazers-Mavericks Game Dies

A 67-year-old woman who collapsed during a nationally-televised game between the Blazers and Mavericks has passed away.

The Oregonian is reporting that the woman who was taken out of the Moda Center with a medical emergency during last night's game between the Trail Blazers and Mavericks has died.

The incident happened in section 111. A witness who sat nearby said the woman's body appeared to go "totally limp." Emergency medical technicians quickly went into the stands and administered CPR after they laid her down over several seats.

"It happened really fast," the witness said. "It's amazing how quickly the EMTs got there."

The woman's name was not immediately available. She was 67 years old.
