Portland Trail Blazers reserve shooting guard CJ McCollum broke his finger during Monday night's game versus the New Orleans Pelicans, the team announced Tuesday.

The injury occurred halfway through the fourth quarter when McCollum was fouled by Eric Gordon of the Pelicans while grabbing an offensive rebound. McCollum finished the game with seven points and two rebounds in 18 minutes.
The team gave a rough timetable for re-evaluation in four weeks. Similar injuries usually keep players out for 4-to-6 weeks.
McCollum was averaging 5.0 points per game off the bench this season. The second year player from Lehigh missed six weeks in his rookie season with a foot injury.
