In the first preseason game of the season, the Blazers never showed up, falling behind from nearly the opening tip and losing badly to the Utah Jazz.
In the bigger picture, this means very little, as the Blazers started preseason slowly last year, and even lost by over 30 points on opening night. Things worked out ok afterward. So this isn't necessarily an ominous sign.
For unknown reasons, Thomas Robinson was not part of the rotation, and only played in fourth quarter garbage time.
Stay tuned, in a few hours Dave Deckard will have extended analysis of the game. In the meantime, hang out here to discuss your thoughts about tonight's game. -- Tim
