New York Times sports television columnist Richard Sandomir reports that the NBA is expected to announce the details of a new agreement with its television broadcast partners on Monday:
NBA to announce $24 billion/9 year deal w/ ESPN and TNT on Monday. Annual average value nearly 3x current deal.
— Richard Sandomir (@RichSandomir) October 6, 2014
That dollar amount would roughly triple the league's current deal.
Annual avg value of new NBA deal soars from about $930M to $2.66B. New deal starts after 2015-16 season.

Since television revenue is considered Basketball Related Income under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement, the salary cap would rise along with the new deal.
More details as they become available.
