The Trail Blazers have announced that center Meyers Leonard will not play in Wednesday's season opener versus the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Mike Tokito of the Oregonian had already reported that the Blazers' opening day active list does not include Victor Claver or Allen Crabbe:
NBA sent out opening-day rosters for all 30 teams yesterday. #Blazers have Victor Claver, Allen Crabbe inactive for OKC opener.

Though Leonard had a nice pre-season for the Blazers, his loss pales in comparison to Oklahoma City's, who will start the season without Kevin Durant, Reggie Jackson, Jeremy Lamb, and Anthony Morrow.
The Blazers and Thunder meet Wednesday night at 7:30 p.m. at the Moda Center.
Hat tip to RipCityProject for alerting us to the Leonard announcement.
