Kevin Durant Injury: Stress Fracture in Foot Will Sideline OKC Star 6-8 Weeks

As our parent company reports at SBNation,com, Oklahoma City Thunder star Kevin Durant is expected to be sidelined 6-8 weeks with a Jones fracture, a fracture of the fifth metatarsal of the foot with symptoms including pain, swelling, and difficulty walking.

The Portland Trail Blazers and Thunder are division rivals expected to contend for significant playoff seeds this season. The two teams are scheduled to meet in the season opener on October 29 and again on December 23rd.
