Peter Socotch of CSNNW.com reports that Trail Blazers broadcasts will be heard on the FM as well as AM dials this season. Rip City Radio 620 AM will carry complete broadcast from pre-game through the post-game show while 102.3 FM will pick up on the tip-to-buzzer portion of the action. This is apparently in response to the wishes of the organization:
The Trail Blazers have made it no secret that they wanted to be on the FM dial.
No word on the direction that directive came from but between the pick-up of the FM station in Portland and the re-expansion into the Eugene/Springfield radio market, the Blazers appear to be shoring up their presence on Oregon's airwaves.
