As reported by our friends at ESPN, the Westgate SuperBook in Las Vegas has released their NBA over-under win totals. The Cleveland Cavaliers lead the pack at 58.5 victories. The Portland Trail Blazers fall a full 10 games behind at 48.5.
Here's the list of the top teams in the league:
Cleveland Cavaliers |
58.5 |
Oklahoma City Thunder |
57.5 |
San Antonio Spurs |
56.5 |
Chicago Bulls |
55.5 |
Los Angeles Clippers |
55.5 |
Golden State Warriors |
50.5 |
Dallas Mavericks |
49.5 |
Toronto Raptors |
49.5 |
Houston Rockets |
49.5 |
Washington Wizards |
49.5 |
Memphis Grizzlies |
48.5 |
Portland Trail Blazers |
48.5 |
The Charlotte Hornets follow Portland with an over-under of 43.5. In essence the oddsmakers have divided the league into four tiers: 55 wins and over, 48-50, 40-45 and everybody else. They've placed the Blazers at the bottom of the second tier, tied for 11th in the league.
What's your opinion? Is 48-49 wins too low? Is 11th about right? What about the Warriors, Mavericks, Rockets, and Wizards hanging out ahead of the Blazers?
