Reports: Former Blazers G Ronnie Price Agrees To Sign With Magic

Former Portland Trail Blazers point guard Ronnie Price has reportedly agreed to sign with the Orlando Magic.

USA TODAY Sports

Chris Haynes of CSNNW.com reports that former Portland Trail Blazers point guard Ronnie Price has agreed to sign with the Orlando Magic.

Former Portland Trail Blazers point guard Ronnie Price has reached an agreement with the Orlando Magic, a league source informed CSNNW.com. The length of the deal is still being finalized, however Price will receive the veteran's minimum and at least one year guaranteed, according to the source.

Josh Robbins of the Orlando Sentinel also reports the move.

The Orlando Magic have reached an agreement in principle with free-agent point guard Ronnie Price. No contract has been signed yet, and the agreement is contingent on Price passing a physical.

Price, 30, averaged 2.7 points and 1.9 assists in 39 games for the Blazers last season after being signed to a one-year deal in July 2012. After missing some time with ankle injuries, he was released in February to make room for the acquisition of Eric Maynor in a trade with the Oklahoma City Thunder. Price was an unrestricted free agent and went unsigned for the balance of the season.
