According to the bell curve, Anthony Bennett projects as a 60% probability of being a little below average or better. He also projects a low probability, 13%, that he will washout in less than 3 seasons. He has a 30% probability of being a below average low minute rotation player, but I believe that is a bit too harsh. One player in this group, Al Thornton, came into the league as a 24 year old rookie, and over 4 years he averaged 27 minutes per game. His WS/48 was low, and only played 4 years which is why I dropped to that category. Lonnie Baxter had a decent WS (.075), but his minute totals were low. Draymond Green has played one season, with a low WS, but was very productive in 12 playoff games. Jeff Adrien is a borderline player as well. So the long and short of that is that a fairly good case could be made, that Anthony Bennett has an 80% probability of being no worse than a little below league average or better, starter/high minute player. That is one of the best bell curves so far. He doesn't have superstar potential, a 25-32 minutes a night with a 0.11 to 0.12 WS is certainly probable for his career.

As a rookie, Anthony Bennett projects to be a little below league average, and he will make steady progress until his 3rd year when he essentially becomes a league average player. His 3 year Ortg/Drtg delta projects to be 106/106, so he is about league average both offensively and defensively. He projects to be low risk player without a superstar upside, a solid league average or better player.
Bennett projects to be a below average rebounder for a PF, better than average for a SF. He has SF height and a PF body. His personal foul rate is the lowest of the PF and bigger players in the top 25, and gets a below average # of steals and a little more than average # of blocks. His turnover rate is actually pretty solid, but has a low assist rate, so his A/TO rates are mediocre. He has an average usage rate, and he will get to the foul line just a little more than average, but he does have a nice FT rate of 74%.
