Portland Trail Blazers rookie guard Damian Lillard is featured in another commercial for Adidas that will run during the 2013 NBA playoffs. Lillard joins Washington Wizards guard John Wall, Philadelphia 76ers guard Jrue Holiday and rapper A$AP Rocky in the spot, which will begin airing on May 1.

Here's an explanation from Adidas.

Adidas today debuts, "Quick Ain't Fair," a new marketing campaign and commercial for the Crazyquick basketball shoe. The TV spot begins airing May 1 in conjunction with the Crazyquick retail launch.

Narrated by rapper A$AP Rocky and featuring his song "Goldie," the spot captures the mesmerizing, quick moves of John Wall (Washington Wizards), Damian Lillard (Portland Trail Blazers) and Jrue Holiday (Philadelphia 76ers). The spot opens with A$AP introducing a mythical family of quicks that balled wearing an advanced shoe, the Crazyquick, which helped them dominate their opponents to reach the highest levels of the game.

The ad shows Lillard crossing over and dunking and the camera zooms in on him as A$AP Rocky calls him the "Rookie of the Year."

Here's a transcript of A$AP Rocky's lines so you can rap along like one of the coolest people in the world.

Quick Ain't Fair Transcript (A$AP Rocky)

There was a family of quicks on my block, a family we all knew.
I'm talkin ‘bout John, Damian and that boy Jrue.

They had an unfair proof that lived in their shoe,
Technological truth made ‘em quicker than you.

Their quick was quick, I'm talkin' bout the quickest quick ever seen.
From outside the gym, you can hear the crowd scream.

Challenges and challenges, brung 'em to the floor,
They cut and crossed over, till there wasn't no more.

Competition that is.

People keep asking, ‘Yo what's up in that shoe?'
First draft pick, rookie of the year and all-star games too.

Looking back on this tale homie who would've ever even knew
That all this quick could come from inside of a shoe.

Those kicks made these cats rare
But when you crazyquick...man...quick ain't fair.

Here's a prepared quote from Lillard on the Crazyquick shoe, which will be released in five colorways on May 1 and can be pre-ordered on adidas.com.

"It really helps me because I'm a point guard and I have the faster, quicker guys guarding me. So having that first step, you know, being quick and having that burst really helps me get in the paint where I can make plays. It really backs guys up off me. It gives me room for a jump shot because they know I got that quickness and I can get around them. And you know this shoe, this shoe that this commercial was about, it really helps."

Lillard was recently named "Sneaker Rookie of the Year" by a shoe website. He appeared in his first Adidas ad earlier this year.
