Trade Exception Appreciation Thread

I was disappointed this morning not to see a thread devoted to a valuable member of the Blazers that as of yesterday is no longer a Blazer asset.

Trade Exception became a Blazer on July 16, 2012, as part of a transaction that saw the insufferable Raymond Felton banished to New York (along with the far less insufferable Kurt Thomas), with Jared Jeffries, Georgios Printezis, Kostas Papanikolaou, Dan Gadzuric and a 2nd round pick becoming Trailblazer assets. Not to be ignored, however, was Trade Exception.

After less than a year as a Blazer-- in which Trade Exception was a loyal soldier that toiled behind the scenes for the Blazers and never sought glory, it was acquired by the Oklahoma City Thunder in a transaction which might have landed the Blazers their long desired competent backup PG. This would not have been possible without Trade Exception.

So, let's raise a glass for this Blazer hero and reminisce about this day several years hence, when its jersey is doubtless lifted to the Rose Garden rafters.
