Portland Trail Blazers guard Damian Lillard hit a game-winning three-pointer with 0.4 seconds remaining to defeat the Cleveland Cavaliers, 119-116, on Tuesday.

The shot marked the eighth three-pointer of Lillard's night, setting a new career-high. He finished with a game-high 36 points (on 11-for-23 shooting), 10 assists and eight rebounds.

LaMarcus Aldridge added 26 points (on 11-for-22 shooting), 15 rebounds and four assists.

Here are some post-game quotes via Chris Haynes of CSNNW.com.

"I said he looked like Gilbert Arenas," LaMarcus Aldridge said after scoring 26 points, grabbing 15 boards and dishing out four assists. "I haven't seen a guy take a shot like that and make it so easy since Gil. He definitely was big tonight. He carried us at times and he made a big shot for us tonight and we needed it."

...

"I've never backed down from anybody," he told CSNNW.com. "I've never backed down from my cousins or my brothers. And that's just not basketball. That's period. I never have and I'm not going to start now. When my team is on the floor, I want to be the best point guard that night."

Blazers.com has more reaction from Lillard and coach Terry Stotts.

Lillard: "They left just enough time for us to get one last play in and we've been able to find a way to get it done in a lot of games similar to this one and tonight we were able to do it again. I didn't want to try to get into the paint too deep. I know they have some giants in there and they all took a lot of shots tonight. Alonzo Gee is a great athlete so I didn't want to put myself in a situation where I couldn't get a good look. On the perimeter, I knew I could get a good look so I just gave him a move to try to get him off balance to where he would be ready for me to blow by him mine and as soon as I saw him try to get ready, I just rose up."

Stotts: "There was nothing to break down. Damian had it going on. He missed four threes and those four could have gone in. They were all right on line. He had a special night and I thought it was appropriate that he finished it like that. He's got a lot of confidence. He has plenty of emotion. He may or may not show it, but he's got plenty of emotion and a lot of fire and a lot of confidence."

Cavaliers guard Kyrie Irving finished with 25 points (on 9-for-22 shooting), 10 assists and three rebounds.

Lillard also hit a game-winner against the Detroit Pistons in overtime on Sunday night.
