Ben and Kevin Pelton return with The Dontonio Wingcast
The weekend always brings some fresh storylines to the Olympics, and this will be no exception. One thing that won't change is the basketball tournament, currently in full swing. Here's what happened Saturday:
- Team France held off Team Tunisia, 73-69. Nicolas Batum had 19 points (on 6-for-9 shooting), 8 rebounds, 3 assists, and 2 blocks.
- Team Russia defeated Team Spain, 77-74. Victor Claver did not play.
- Team USA withstood a strong challenge from Team Lithuania, eventually winning 99-94.
- Team Australia came back to blow out Team Great Britain, 106-75. Joel Freeland had 16 points (5-for-14 shooting), 7 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 block and 2 steals.
As the men's basketball ends for the day, other sports are just heating up. As always, discussion is open to all Olympic events and surroundings. -- Tim
