Indy tried to get Kaman at the deadline last season. ------------------------------- It was reported earlier this weekend that the Pacers would begin to investigate other potential options at center after the Portland Trail Blazers reportedly agreed to extend a 4-year, $58 million offer sheet to Pacers restricted free agent center Roy Hibbert. While Pacers coach Frank Vogel said before free agency opened that Hibbert "wasn't going anywhere" there are some who don't view the Pacers matching as a slam dunk. Kaman, 30, averaged 13.1 points and 7.7 rebounds for the Hornets in 2011-12 after being traded to New Orleans by the Los Angeles Clippers.
