Spears: Jamal Crawford Officially Declines Player Option

Sports reports on Twitter that Portland Trail Blazers guard Jamal Crawford has officially decided not to pick up his player option for the 2012-13 season. ---------------------------- Guard Jamal Crawford has officially sent his letter to the Portland Trail Blazers to become a free agent this summer. ---------------------------- The Blazers and Crawford recently agreed to extend his deadline for making the decision until June 29 to open up the possibility of a Draft day trade.
