Another nationally televised game. Remember when most folks complained we never played on national TV? Anyway, the Portland Trail Blazers are in Los Angeles to play the Clippers (late ~7:40 tipoff). The Clippers are playoff-bound, and Portland has always had trouble beating them in LA. Will the Blazers make this competitive?
Injury Report: As noted during yesterday's broadcast, Nolan Smith stayed home with a left ear infection.
Joe Freeman of The Oregonian reports that Blazers All-Star forward LaMarcus Aldridge will not play due to a "sprained left elbow" and that reserve forward J.J. Hickson will start in his place. Aldridge is day-to-day.
