Well, this was nice. For the second time in a week, the Blazers played an opponent they should beat, and absolutely dominated them. The Wizards stayed close after a quarter, then the Blazers took over and never looked back.
Gerald Wallace was outstanding, scoring 28 points, with 8 rebounds, 3 assists and 4 steals. LaMarcus Aldridge added 22 points, 6 rebounds and 2 blocks, and Nic Batum finished with a double-double (22 points, 12 rebounds and 3 steals). Also, the legendary Chris Johnson contributed 7 points, 2 rebounds and 3 blocks.
The Blazers get 2 full days off to rest, and will host San Antonio Friday night.
The box score is here, and Dave and Ben will have more later. -- Tim
