Gameday Open Thread: Blazers 80, Lakers 84 (Postgame)

[Note: Marcus Camby went down with a right ankle injury. Click for more on his status.]

Well, the Blazers played the Lakers to a standstill, but a few poor decisions late left the Blazers with a loss. This felt very similar to the previous game in Portland, where the Lakers made the big plays down the stretch (off Blazer turnovers) to steal a game they were previously losing.

Nicolas Batum led scoring with 22 points. LaMarcus Aldridge added 18, and Rudy Fernandez finished with 10.

The ending of this game stunk, but the Blazers showed they could hang with the Lakers on the second night of a back to back. And hey, if on Friday night, I said we'd go 1-1 over the weekend, you'd have been ok right?

Box score is here, stay tuned for Dave's recap. -- Tim
