Gameday Open Thread: Mavericks 101, Blazers 104 (Postgame)

BLAZERS WIN! BLAZERS WIN! BLAZERS WIN!

Yet another huge, memorable game down the stretch. With the game on the line late in the fourth, the Blazers come up big, holding off the Mavs after Dirk misses a last-second three pointer. Dallas started the game hitting their first 11 shots, and shot nearly 60% overall, but the Blazers simply would not go away.

Despite LaMarcus Aldridge's 30 points and 8 rebounds, the game MVP was the electric Brandon Roy, coming off the bench to hit big shot after big shot, scoring 21 points with 3 rebounds and 2 assists. Wesley Matthews was 4-4 from three to finish with 18 points overall, helping keep the Blazers afloat early.

This game is replayed on NBA TV at Midnight tonight. If you missed it, find a way to see the replay.

The box score is here, and there will be plenty later from Dave and Ben. Hang out here and enjoy the big, big victory. -- Tim
