For the second straight home game, the Blazers knocked off a member of the league's elite behind a fantastic performance by LaMarcus Aldridge. A tight game throughout, the final part of the fourth quarter featured tremendous individual efforts by Aldridge and Derrick Rose; Rose finished with 36 points and 6 assists, but Aldridge sealed the deal for Portland with 11 straight points and a key drawn charge. His final line was a career-high 42 points and 8 rebounds on 15-23 from the field.
Rudy Fernandez continued his good play with 18 points, and Andre Miller rebounded from a poor night in Cleveland with an efficient 27 points, 11 assists, 6 rebounds, and 4 steals.
Here's your box score.
Discuss yet another huge home win here. That Aldridge is pretty good, huh?
