Blazers Targeting Pacers PG T.J. Ford After Buyout?

Multiple reports surfaced on Thursday morning that the Portland Trail Blazers have interest in Indiana Pacers point guard T.J. Ford, who is expected to be bought out of the last year of his contract. To acquire Ford, the Blazers would need to clear a roster spot, as they currently carry the maximum 15 players. Mike Wells of the Indy Star reports... ----------------------- The Pacers have told T.J. Ford they will offer him a buyout if he's not traded by the deadline, which likely won't happen, according to a source. Portland and Miami (if they clear a roster spot) are expected to have interest in Ford when his contract is bought out. Add the Knicks to the list of teams expected to have interest in Ford, too, after his buyout according to Alan Hahn of Newsday.
