Gameday Open Thread: Blazers 105, Pistons 100 (Postgame)

A bit closer than we might like, but it counts as a win. Detroit played with heart and stayed close, but Portland pulled away down the stretch for another road win.

LaMarcus Aldridge was utterly dominant again, with 36 points (on 12-17 shooting!) and 4 rebounds, in a bid for another Player of the Week award. Wesley Matthews added 26 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists, and Andre Miller tallied 15 points, 12 assists, and 9 turnovers (!) to nearly reach an unusual triple-double.

As jenstcy notes in the postgame comments:

LA this week averages 38.3 points while shooting 63.1% FG (41-65) and 84.6% FT (33-39) as Portland goes 3-0

Box score. The Blazers are right back in action tomorrow night, in Minnesota at 5pm West Coast time. -- Tim
