Portland stayed close until the fourth quarter, but just couldn't stop New York. The Blazers hit 35% of their shots (to the Knicks' 50%), and the Knicks showed why they're no longer pushovers.
Despite repeated foul trouble, LaMarcus Aldridge led a dreadful Blazer team with 19 points and 10 rebounds, but there isn't much noteworthy to take from this game, just a whole lot of bricked shots at the Portland bucket.
Box score here. Stay tuned for Dave and Ben with, I have no doubt, some very interesting thoughts about this game. -- Tim
