MRI of Brandon Roys right knee reveals slight meniscus tear. Roy is out for final 2 regular season games. Day to day for playoffs.

If I do play I want to play at a level I can help." Brandon Roy on his teammates: "It's hard to tell them I don't know when I'm going to play again." ... rest and ice is current treatment Brandon Roy says, "I will have surgery, it's just a matter of when." Plans to have surgery during offseason. Brandon Roy says recovery timeline after meniscus surgery is 4-6 weeks.
Summation for anyone who's reading quickly in panic: Roy will need surgery. The timing is in question. He may be able to play in the playoffs but that's up in the air, depending on how the knee feels and how much he can contribute.
